Oh, How They Grow

Caleigh at 4 years:

• almost 40 pounds
• sneaks in to Daddy's bed just about every night
• swings by herself
• is learning to write her letters
• is starting Classical Conversations in the fall
• loves to swim and meet friends at the pool
• has a shorter haircut
• trying to learn to sit in big church
• started going to the big kid Sunday school class
• loves to sing and dance, especially "A Bushel and Peck"
• has learned to color in the lines
• listens to Rescuers just about every day at nap time
• likes Mommy to sing "Down by the Bay" at bed time
• aggravates her brother, a lot
• plays dress up
• likes to play hide-n-seek and Goldilocks and Monster Bears
• plays with her Tag pen

Elisha at 2 years:

• 29 pounds
• still playing with tools
• weed eats
• hoes in the garden, sometimes taking out plants
• likes to wake Josiah up
• likes to ride the motorcycle and horse
• talks on the phone
• can put together simple puzzles
• has a "Hey Little Lisha" Song
• wants to read the tractor book
• jumps when he runs
• hesitant about swimming
• likes to swing in big boy swing
• yells "Jesus" during family worship
• wants his bedroom door left open and wishes he could sleep in Daddy's bed
• says he is Poppy's boy or Jess's boy
• says "Me Noise" when you ask him to make an Elisha noise or says "Granna Noise" when you ask him to make a Granna noise

Josiah at 6 months:

• 20 pounds 13 ounces - 95 percentile
• 28 inches - 95 percentile
• three teeth: two bottom, right top
• rolls from belly to back
• can roll from back to belly, but becomes very upset with himself because he doesn't like to be on his belly
• screams
• laughs at Caleigh and Elisha at the supper table
• kicks his feet like crazy when you lay him in his bed
• sleeps most nights and naps in the room with Elisha
• eats veggies and fruit
• drinks from a cup
• can sit up some with support
• tastes good to mosquitos
• gets his fat legs caught in the carseat straps

Is Josiah as big Elisha?

He is not so sure about that...

But for some reason he is really happy about this....

After 6 month shots

God decided to make it rain after we started washing the van (the second time in six months). Instead, Rusty and the kids played in it.
