Baby Firsts and Christmas 2009

Oops. My pictures are out of order. I always forget the order in which the blogger loads them.

All a real boy needs are boots. Every morning he wakes up and boots are what he wants.

A yelping dog that walks. Just what mommy always wanted.

Caleigh and Grandma: the only picture I got of Caleigh looking at the camera. Her hair was beautiful. Aunt Katie curled it for her, hairspray and all.

Caleigh got a bicycle to go along with her 4-wheeler, scooter, tricycle, skates....
I'm glad we can give to our children, but it is a little out of hand. Someone (aka Daddy) always surprises the kids and mommy with a few unexpected gifts, which makes it fun.

Elisha's tool bench that both kids loved.
A real boy needs tools to go along with his boots.
Now he can be like Geez-Paw and Uncle Jess.
He carries his hammer everywhere.
He has lots of work to do.

Granna, Elisha, Tan Tan, Tanner, and Cole

Drums? Really? Does Rusty not know how sensitive I am to sound?

Getting ready to go look at Christmas lights in our pajamas.
Even Geez-Paw put on his Peanuts pajama pants.
Grandma packed a lot of snacks and hot chocolate,
and we saw the lights set to music at a local house.

Josiah's first bath. Checkout the beginning of the fat rolls. They've only multiplied.

Lying on his belly. He couldn't stay awake.

We made a Jesus Christmas tree again this year. We didn't have green construction paper the day we started it, so we painted it with finger paint, which means we redid it several times. What a mess! We skipped several days and had to catch up, but Caleigh still learned some of the names of Jesus. I only wish it was easier to make CHRISTmas more Christ-centered.
I pray the Lord will lead us in celebrating with more Christ-honoring traditions in the future.

The Langford Bunch: This is us before the 24-hour rush - Granny's, Philyaw's, our house, Granna and Poppy's, Meme's for breakfast, Crook's, and Grandma and Geez-Paw's
(not including the Mitchell's and McKenzie's
which we celebrated prior to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day)
