September Silliness

What can I say? We're a silly family....and a happy family (most of the time).

I caught myself asking Rusty if he thought our kids are happy the other day. Of course, we agree that they are happy children, but he pointed out that that might be the wrong question to ask. The fascination with happiness is such a modern idea. It really only sets us up for disappointment, depression... We only hope and pray that our children grow into godly children who desire to please the Lord and who are content in Him. But, we hope that our silliness produces a loving atmosphere that points our children to our loving Father.

Happy Birthday, Granny!

The Langfords: Joseph, Rusty, Elisha, Steve, Granny, and Jess

Lisha a little happier than Uncle Jo

Camp Out: Cole spent the night, so Rusty set up the tent
(in the front yard under the big streetlight at near midnight).
Caleigh made it about 30 minutes, but she thought
it was really cool to have slept in the tent.
Lisha with DoDo: My parents say Lisha's name for Cole is payback for his name for me -
Ca-Ca, or Mexican poop.

Rusty dressed the kids in garbage bags

Lovingly wrestling in Mommy and Daddy's bed first thing in the morning

If you saw my facebook post about glitter...this is the picture to prove it. She dumped it out, spread it all over everything, proceeded to eat it, and ended up pooping the next day.
